Riding bicycles is a fun family activity.  Bicycles for children can be very affordable or very expensive, but they do not need to be expensive for kids to have fun!

When choosing a bicycle for your child, you need to ask some simple questions:

1. How much do you want to spend?
2. Where and under what condition will your child be riding the bicycle (i.e., in the backyard, on quiet streets, on dirt trails, etc.).
3. How old is the child, and how quickly is the child growing?
4. Does the child already know how to ride abicycle?

Know matter what type of bicycle you choose, it is very important that the bicycle is the right size. If you are not familiar with how to choose the size of a bicycle for your child, then you should consider visiting a bicycle shop.
